Dr. Cheng completed her undergraduate studies in neuroscience and behavior at Barnard College in New York City. She then obtained a graduate degree in secondary science education while teaching high school in Manhattan. Never forgetting her passion for healthcare, she pursued her doctorate degree in dental surgery, and graduated from the University at Buffalo. As a native Long Islander, she returned to complete her residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Garden City, and has been practicing on Long Island ever since. Dr. Cheng enjoys tennis, exploring new restaurants with her husband, and spending time with her family.
